Arrival in Irkutsk, meeting a group at the airport or at the railway station in Irkutsk. At 09:00 local time, starting at the Burduguz Park Hotel. On the way, you will hear a brief history of the formation of the capital of Eastern Siberia, will see the winter landscapes of the city, replaced by a dense coniferous forest, and, of course, acquaintance with the beautiful river - Angara.
After lunch and a short rest, we go to the Taltsy cultural and ethnographic museum - a unique collection of historical, architectural and ethnographic monuments of the 17th – 19th centuries. The museum is located on the picturesque banks of the Angara River, at 47 km of the Baikal tract. Here, four historical and cultural zones of the Baikal region are recreated in retrospect: Russian, Buryat, Evenk and Tofalar.
Day 2 Listvyanka
After breakfast, departure to the village Listvyanka and a visit to the Baikal Museum. The museum’s exposition, which tells about the origin, life and explorations of Lake Baikal, began to be created back in 1925. Today it is based on Baikal fish, birds and animals, samples of these sediments and Baikal minerals, models, various exhibits found during scientific field expeditions, everyone who came to Lake Baikal should visit the museum.
Immediately after the museum you will find an active snowmobile tour of Lake Baikal. This unusual trip will take about 5-6 hours: the mirror blue surface of Lake Baikal, a hot lunch on ice, extreme and drive, photographs with unique landscapes and unforgettable adventures - this is the smallest thing that you can get from such a trip.
In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner. If you wish, visit a unique bath complex located on the territory of the Park-Hotel Burduguz.
Day 3 Circum-Baikal Railway
After breakfast at the hotel departure to the Chersky Stone observation platform, a bird's-eye view of Lake Baikal, the source of the Angara River and the endless Khamar-Daban ridge. Descent from the observation deck on the chairlift and departure to the village Tankhoy along the Circum-Baikal Railway on one of the most unique means of transportation on Lake Baikal - the Khivus-10 aircraft. Along the way, you will make stops on the ice for taking photos of unique landscapes and walks through the tunnels of imperial times.
In the village Tankoy you will visit the “Baikal Zapovedny” visit center. The museum is well equipped and is a modern world-class tourist center.
Lunch and an excursion to the visit center, departure to the Sobolinka Park Hotel, which is located at the foot of Sobolinaya Mountain. In the evening, dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will have free time that you can spend at your choice: try yourself in a real carriage and ride a dog sled, feel the steep slopes in the largest ski resort in Eastern Siberia, take a walk on the ice of Lake Baikal, ride ATVs in snowy forests or visit extreme Wookiee Park at an altitude of 900 meters, offering panoramic views of Lake Baikal and the snow-capped peaks of the mountains. In the evening, dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast, departure from Baikalsk to Irkutsk. Upon arrival, hotel accommodation and free time that you can devote to getting to know the city and its customs, visit the bank of the Angara River and the main attractions of the capital of Eastern Siberia.
